Almeera has opened temporary outlet at Sealine Resort
Al Meera has opened a temporary supermarket at the Sealine resort in a show of support for the Winter Camp held annually at the resort, south of Doha.
The temporary outlet, which would operate for the five-month camping season, offers camping and consumer requirements for the public with no premiums added, which meant that the prices at Sealine branch was equivalent to other Al Meera branches, said Mohamed Nasser al-Qahtani, its deputy CEO, after inaugurating the outlet.
In addition to the supermarket, the retailer would also provide a space for food franchises and a play area for families and children to safely enjoy this season."We wanted to give incentive for all citizens – of all ages – to take advantage of the government-supported initiative… Our involvement again this year is a sign of our commitment to our community, and our hope is that residents will take advantage of the wonderful offerings of the Qatari outdoors," he said.
With a supermarket on-site, there's no need to make the hour-and-a-half round-trip to shop for their goods, he said in reference to the need for travelling to Mesaieed, Wakrah or Doha for buying camping items.
